What is a Junk Car
What is a junk car? Different people define junk cars differently. I guess the bottom line is when a car is worth more to you at scrap metal prices, then it is a junk car. Many people hang on to cars for years, classic cars. Then they decide that they aren't worth fixing up, so they scrap them, making them junk cars. Here in Indianapolis a junk car can be totally different from a junk car in another part of the country or even another part of Indiana. Here is a junk car that was brought in just the other day. I don't agree with it being a junk car, but someone actually junked it. It is a 1963 Pontiac Catalina.
